Golf Community Donates
To Bruns House and Food Bank
Players from all Rossmoor golf clubs participated in the annual Charity Day on August 18. The event raised $7,757 for Bruns House Hospice and $321 for Contra Costa Food Bank.
The success of the event is due to the generosity of sponsors, raffle donors, event planners, golf participants, and cash donations from individuals.
At their last meeting the 18ers board voted to add augment amounts generated by the event with funds from the 18ers treasury. The final donation amounts were $8,000 to Bruns House and $400 to Food Bank.
