Women’s 18ers Planning New Member Orientation
The Rossmoor Women’s 18ers Golf Club will hold an orientation for its 12 new members on Jan. 23 at 4 p.m. in Multipurpose Rooms 1 & 2 at Gateway. Wine and snacks will be served and new members will meet Linda Pingatore, current Membership Chair, who will be hosting the event along with next year’s Membership Chair, Myra Balfiore. Also present will be Teddi Swanson, 18ers Captain; Janice Davis, Handicap Chair; Denise Pratt, Tournament Chair; Theresa Kim and Joyce McCann, Rules Chairs; and Claudia Terry, Publicity Chair and Website Coordinator.
New members will receive a membership packet full of information about the club. The intent of the orientation is to welcome members into the club and help familiarize them with 18ers procedures for participating in Thursday play days, team play events, Open Days, and more.
