The Rossmoor Women’s 18ers played an even/odd partner tournament where one player in the twosome was responsible for the even-numbered holes while the other player was responsible for the odd-numbered holes. Net scoring was used. Winners are: First place with net 65: Robin Moreau and Bari Mantel. Second place with net 65: Agnes Shin and Chong Harney. Third place with net 68: Olivia Hsueh and Soonee Kim. Fourth place with net 70: Nancy Groswird and Theresa Kim. Fifth place with net 72: Ai Soon Hong and Janet Choi.

Birdies were shot by Chong Harney on hole 13, Marian King on hole 10, Marlene Seffern on hole 14, and Claudia Terry on holes 2 and 13. Soonee Kim had a chip-in on hole 14.

Next ladies day begins the three-day 18ers Handicap Tournament, starting with two stroke play rounds on the 18th and 23rd using full handicaps. Then on Thursday, May 25th the format will be match play and the lowest cumulative scores from the previous rounds will determine who is matched with whom. Shotgun start will be at 8:30 tomorrow, then competitors will set up their own tee times for Tuesday’s rounds. The final day will be a shotgun start at 8:30 for players who are in consolation matches, and the four contenders for champion, runner-up, third and fourth place will have tee times set up by the pro shop.
