The Chairman of the 23rd Annual RMGC Invitational Chuck Moran takes to the Podium to start the festivities.

The RMGC extended a big thank you to Xfinity for its Platinum sponsorship and to Jillian Johnson and her team for providing a major enhancement to the 23rd Annual Invitational with their Xfinity raffle and the Titleist golf balls which were passed out by the team on the first tee.
Invitational Chairman Chuck Moran welcomes and gives another big thank you to Wayne Zimmerman representing Platinum sponsor Ace Hardware of Alamo and Danville. Ace generously provided the RMGC with a new storage shed to replace the shed lost to a tree that fell behind the 16th green.

Another big thanks goes to Gold Sponsor Stan Gedeon and his Creekside team for the great lunch and even better dinner – Here Stan serves RMGC Secretary Pat Iacullo – I can’t keep a secret – I know for a fact that Pat loves Stan’s food – he had two lunches!!
And what was Stan serving? How about Cordon Bleu along with Prime Rib – what a great meal.
When the golf was done there definitely was a full house for Stan’s award-winning dinner.
But before and along with dinner was the Bar Boys Band doing their thing – Jim McCann, Rich Wheeler, Rod Lee and Bryan Burnett giving Karyn McKinley a list of their fine tunes from which to choose.
After listening to the list of the Bar Boys Band Tunes – Xfinity Team Leader, Jillian Johnson and Assistant Karyn McKinley, with those charismatic and enthusiastic smiles which brought a new dimension to the Invitational festivities, get ready to sample Stan’s great dinner offerings.

Chairman Chuck Moran draws the last Xfinity ticket – he’s aghast – he can’t believe it – the Winner of that brand new $500 driver – the Grand Prize in Xfinity raffle is none other than Michael Weisenberg!!!
Jillian Johnson the Xfinity Team Leader looks for Michael to present him with the Driver – where is he – has he fainted – nope just fell off his chair – but he’s rising.
Michael gallantly accepts the driver and brands it with a kiss – next question – will this romance last??
In the end everyone had a great time and a large number of participants went home with prizes. Everyone got a really nice Ogio carry-bag along with the newest in ball mark repair tools and a hand-towel with the RMGC logo on it. Again RMGC wishes to thank Mark Heptig who worked hand in hand with Invitational Chairman Chuck Moran to ensure the success of this event. Also a special thanks to Brent Mulinax whose attention to detail and tireless efforts mean so much to our RMGC events. The course was in great condition and again many guests got to experience the great golf here at Rossmoor.
