On Wednesday, June 28th the RMGC hosted 64 golfers from Contra Costa and Moraga Country Clubs It was another awesome event with breakfast, lunch, fun golf and tremendous camaraderie. These events continue to allow our club to show off our great golf course and beautiful valley with its many amenities to local golfers who in many instances show interest in becoming Rossmoor residents. RMGC again gives a big thank you to Mary Jane Kiefer and KW Keller Williams Realty for sponsoring the range balls for warm up. Marsha Wehrenberg and her Intero Realty team for their fantastic support of our raffles. Intero provided many gift cards which brought the total raffle prize count to over 20 winners. Thank you Marsha and Intero for making our raffles the best ticket in the home and home events in the Bay area.
The golf was a team competition based on two best net scores per four man team on each hole. The scores were really low, as Mark Heptig said the plan based on the scoring is to put in 12 new bunkers. The winning team was from the left James Brown (Moraga) with the low individual net score of the day at 57; Pang Man and Ping Tse (Rossmoor); Lee Paige (Contra Costa).

The following are the results of note: Second Place David Smith and Don Loustalet (Rossmoor); Benny Lee (Contra Costa) and Bob Andrew (Moraga); Tied for Third Place: Team of Rick Thompson, Chris Thompson, Gary Beckman and Fred Boettler and the Team of Patrick Phelps, Rich Aldinger, Frank Reynolds and john Devilliers. Fifth Place was Rob Ingalls, Will Alloway, Donald Terry and David Coburn. Sixth Place was Colin Ferrett, Don Bea, Bob Lewis, and Robert Thurlow.
