Anna Kim wins the 2015 Charm for the Lady 18 Hole golf club and the Annual Holiday Party is on Thursday, December 3

On Thursday November 12 five ladies competed for the annual Charm. Over the course of the 2015 golf season there were six charm girl play days where the golfer with the lowest net score won for that day with the privilege to playoff in November against the other winners. This year Pat Deisem, Anna Kim, Linda Ingalls, Teddi Swanson and Mary Hufford competed against each other for the lowest net score. Nancy Park was a winner during the year and was unable to play in the playoff event. The 2015 Charm winner is Anna Kim with a low net score of 77. Anna will receive her charm at the Holiday Luncheon. Well done Anna.
Thursday’s golf competition for the ladies, including the ladies competing in the Charm
playoff, was a low gross winner in each flight as well as two low net winners in each flight. 1st flight low gross winner was our club champion, Grace Nitta, with 84 and winning first low net was Joanne Kim with a 73 and Pat Deisem second low net winner with a 80. 2nd flight low gross winner was Jane Lee with a 97 and first low net winner was Helen Choi with a 72 and second low net winner was Sonee Kim with a 77. 3rd flight low gross winner was Marlene Seffren with a 108 and first low net winner was Mitzi Weinberg with a 77 and second low net winner was Teddi Swanson with a 80. Birdies were had by Grace Nitta on #1 and Helen Choi on #2. Chip-ins were had by Grace Nitta on #1 & #17, Sonee Kim on #1, Helen Choi on #2 and Peg Yamada on #6. Congratulations to these winners.
Holiday Luncheon December 3
Annual Holiday Luncheon Party is on Thursday, December 3. The cost is $14 for a wonderful
lunch and special annual gathering of golf friends to kick off the holiday season. Sign up envelopes are available at the 18ers desk in the Pro Shop. Reservation checks should be made payable to the Rossmoor Women’s 18er and the signup deadline is November 25. Each table seats eight people and those who want to sit together must put their checks in the same envelope. Our wish is that all ladies who are members of the Lady 18 Hole Golf Club will join us for this wonderful annual event.
