Grace Nitta won the 18er 2015 Club Championship with consistent excellent play for the three rounds of medal play golf totaling 247. This is the most demanding format for the 18er ladies in the golf year. Grace’s name will be engraved on the 18er perpetual trophy honoring Rossmoor Champions over the years. The tight race in hot weather between Nitta, Janice Davis, Claudia Terry, Agnes Shin, Janet Choi, Olivia Hsueh and Joanne Kim resulted in the third championship win for Grace.

Mark Heptig, Director of Golf, announced the results:

Championship Flight: low gross, Grace Nitta (247); second low gross, Janice Davis (256); and third low gross, Claudia Terry (266).

First Flight: first low gross, Pat Deisem (271); second low gross, Nancy Park (282); and Low net champion, Juna Lee (213).

Second Flight: low gross, Pat Taylor (303); and second low gross, Helen Chung (308).

Following the matches the ladies gathered at the Creekside Club Room for a celebration lunch which was partially supported by Karin Romak, Helen Choi and Jane Lee as a commemoration of their holes-in-one. Many thanks go to Cletia Bowron, Tournament Chair, Linda Pingatore, Mark Heptig and Wayne Weckerlin for all their planning and efforts and congratulations to all the ladies for their participation in this three-day medal play event.
