Match Play Tournament

The Rossmoor Men’s Golf Club will have their annual Match Play Tournament in October. The 18 hole tournament, played on the Dollar Ranch Golf Course, is a handicapped event and the participants will be divided into flights of 8. The first match will be on Saturday, October 15. The winners of the opening rounds will have their second round match on Wednesday, October 19. The winners of the second round match will then play for the championship on Saturday, October 22.

The losers of the opening match and any new participants are then invited to play a 6x6x6 tournament on Wednesday, October 19, with a shotgun start. The format for that day’s play is 6 holes of scramble, 6 holes of alternate shot and 6 holes of better ball. After golf on Wednesday, there is a luncheon in the event center for all golfers. The cost for all of this will be in the $30 – $35 range, plus golf and cart fees, if applicable. Please watch your emails for an invitation to play in this tournament along with the exact cost.
